Ever wondered who the people behind the crafts we admire are and how they bring their creations to life? If so, you’ll love We Are Makers Magazine, Edition 13.
In this edition, we share the stories of more talented makers from around the world. Among them is César Leblic, a ceramic tile maker from the beautiful city of Paris, where we had the pleasure of joining him for a workshop at the end of 2024. We also feature Jacob von der Lippe, a Norwegian violin maker who became the first from Norway to study in Cremona, Italy – the birthplace of violin making. Liesbeth Claessens, an incredible hand weaver from Belgium who has a huge passion for preserving traditional crafts and sharing her knowledge with others. Another fascinating story is that of James Cook from London, an artist who uses the keys of a typewriter to create stunning works of art + 7 more stories!
At We Are Makers it's our mission to spotlight their remarkable work, offering them the platform they deserve to shine and share the magic they bring to the world.

I waited with anticipation for my first look at We Are Makers. I was not disappointed!
Telling the story about what takes to become a maker is very much needed
We Are Makers always curates incredible stories of truly gifted and diverse makers. I am always moved to re-engage my creative endeavors when I read this magazine. I also love the quality of the printed "magazine" as well. It smells wonderful, it feels lovely, it is incredibly well designed. I hope to see We Are Makers maintain this level of goodness for a long time to come!
Great level up from 15! Deeper dives about the art’s work with more photos. Good stories and writing. Still the best publication I’ve seen in years.
I love your beautifull magazine!
Nice layout, love the printquality and ofcourse... it opens the world to all those creative people. So diverse and really interesting.
It is a beautiful magazine that feels good in the hand - there's nothing like paper with words to help you feel grounded. The photography is wonderful and the stories are inspiring!
AS a maker myself I enjoy seeing the work of others and reading their insights into the crafting life.
